Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Potholes on the kerbside are filling with rainwater and the road surface is uneven. My husband is profoundly disabled and is unable to go out on his electric wheelchair because of the uneven kerb. Outside of Fen View, 395 Broadgate, Weston Hills, PE12 6DB.

Thank you for the update. Does this mean that the damage this water is causing our property every time it rains will be paid for by Lincolnshire County Council?

I’m writing to raise a serious concern regarding the recent works carried out on our road. While it appeared that the original intent was to fix the existing potholes, the situation has actually been made significantly worse.
The holes have been filled using a waterproof spray material, which has resulted in water no longer draining properly. Now, the road floods, and when cars pass through, the water is sprayed onto nearby properties, causing further damage.
Frankly, you couldn’t make this up. The issue is not only unresolved — it’s now more disruptive and potentially hazardous.
This issue needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency.
