Peppin Lane, just before bungalow "The Meadow"
Reported via desktop in the Dying or diseased tree category anonymously at 10:41, Monday 24 March 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2839391.
(What 3 Words location: secretly.roadshow.depravity) A villager has reported to the Parish Council about the condition of a tree near their bungalow, on the County Council grass verge. They are concerned that the tree is leaning to one side, has bracket fungus at the base and appears to be rotten at the centre of the trunk. If it were to be blown over in a storm, it would fall on the highway, also maybe bringing down the telephone lines to nearby bungalows. The tree in question is the last one before the bungalows. It is the one with a bird box attached.
