Os ref 039688 at start of footpath on Third Hill Road

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2839427.
There is a locked metal farm gate at the point where the footpath leaves Third Hill Road. This has been modified by adding vertical metal bars to each side of the top of the gate between which are placed strands of razor wire to prevent pedestrians climbing the gate and gaining access to the public footpath. I don't know the area well so am unable to state how long the issue has been present

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know about this matter to do with this public right of way. Just so that you know, this is what’s classified as a ‘Priority 4 Path’ within our current Lincolnshire County Council policy. Because this path is a ‘4’ there’s no specific timescale for resolution of obstruction issues. What happens with this category of path is that all issues are investigated and the resolved at the same time, so when the path does have a workplan actioned then ALL issues outstanding are taken care of in one go. We’ll let you know when anything happens further on this matter but, for now, we won’t be carrying out any work at this site.
BUT! If any report made to us is a Health and Safety matter, then this will be dealt with in a timescale that’s appropriate.
