Bracken Hill Farm os ref 035687
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category anonymously at 13:23, Mon 24 March 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2839432.
There is a metal farm gate which had been modified by adding razor wire to metal extensions on top to prevent it being climbed when it is locked. No stile or kissing gate has been provided to allow access when it is locked. I am unaware of how long the access to the public footpath has been restricted.

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know about this matter to do with this public right of way. Just so that you know, this is what’s classified as a ‘Priority 4 Path’ within our current Lincolnshire County Council policy. Because this path is a ‘4’ there’s no specific timescale for resolution of obstruction issues. What happens with this category of path is that all issues are investigated and the resolved at the same time, so when the path does have a workplan actioned then ALL issues outstanding are taken care of in one go. We’ll let you know when anything happens further on this matter but, for now, we won’t be carrying out any work at this site.
BUT! If any report made to us is a Health and Safety matter, then this will be dealt with in a timescale that’s appropriate. We’ll assess each report made this way on its own merit, and then take the right measures to ensure safety for those who are using the path.Posted by Lincolnshire County Council at 13:52, Mon 24 March 2025
