Loose cover. This was repaired by the council a couple of months ago but the matter hasn't been resolved and it is still banging when being driven over.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

An officer has inspected the cover and spoken to nearby resident finding no issue with the new cover. He has also driven over it to confirm that it is set ok. Please note that even new covers will move to a certain degree within their frames and no further action is planned on the matter. Thank you for reporting this matter.

This cover is disturbing the peace. These covers are not supposed to make a loud banging noise when driving over, especially those in residential areas.
