Problem at LCC roadworks problem
Council ref: 4202864.
Caller informs us that work was started last night on Washway Road. He says they were digging a channel at the side of the lampost but he says the channel was cut on land that he owns and he wanted to know why nobody had contacted him regarding this as it is provate land. Also the manhole cover is a trip hazard and a shovel was left in the garden and a yellow roll ofelectrical cable roll. Caller was disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Is anyone checking up on this work daily?

Can someone pls contact me regarding this situation as to where I stand with the contractors when they return to work tonight. Is the work suspended? Do I stop them working on my land? If they refuse? do I call the police? As it is criminal damage to my land.

It will only let me send these 3 pics but as you can see from the pics they have made a real mess of my garden. It may close to the path but it’s still private land and no permission was asked for or given. I find this completely unacceptable. Regardless of permission or not they should not leave my garden in such a mess.
