Roadworks on Hunters Lane, before the junction onto Thorpe Road.

Reported via mobile in the Problem at LCC roadworks category anonymously at 10:49, Tuesday

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2841388.

Last night(14th of April, after 10pm) the roadworks on Hunters Lane were incredibly loud for the time of night and unfortunately kept me and my family awake. I have a chronic illness and my sleep is incredibly important to me, as with a lack of sleep, my function the next day can be impaired. I don't believe there was any notification of works happening late at night, but I am unsure why they were happening overnight anyway. This is the first time the issue has been present.

  • Again tonight (15 Apr) the roadworks have been going on late into the night with seemingly no work occurring during the day. The time of reporting is 0030 on 16 Apr now and there is still noise from machinery and beeping from vehicles. Floodlights still illuminate the street. I do not recall seeing any notification that disturbance would occur at these times, and it is disturbing for me and my family.
