Path leading to 31-32 Barnack Estate PE24 5LU
Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 18:58, Tue 15 April 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2841450.
Photo is your email from 2020 when someone came and put a yellow cover over the pot hole, which has risen, causing me to trip. . Yet you say this path doesn't belong to you. It is a public footpath leading to 32 Barnack Estate- privately owned and 31 Barnack Estate-platform housing. Platform advised us that the paths upkeep was the responsibility of the council.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because we have spoken to our legal department and this footway is not maintained by Lincolnshire County Council. It looks to be joint responsibility between the owners of the 2 properties it serves and some responsibility of East Lindsey District Council. We did originally make the area safe, as you pointed out, but we do not have any further responsibility for this area.
Thank you for reporting this matter.
