Reported via iOS in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 13:34, Fri 18 April 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2841712.

Huge potholes on the side of the road where the roads broken away due to Arctic lorry’s travelling down there on route to Scunthorpe. It’s a 60mph road and with the potholes on both sides of the road it leaves minimal distance between cars to pass eachother.

I’ve just had to replace my car wheel due to hitting a pothole and bending the wheel and popping the tyre.

It’s not safe driving down there in parts of the road due to these potholes which are easily 100mm deep if not more , it’s a danger to people driving down there because cars on both sides have to keep tight to the central line of the road to avoid the potholes, it’s either smash your car wing mirror off avoiding the potholes or hit the potholes?!

I know of various people who have reported this road before also and nothings been done! It’s a main route from market rasen to Scunthorpe which people use every day so something needs to be done. And also should people have to keep paying for new tyres on their cars etc due to the poor quality of the roads which we all pay our tax’s to be repaired and well maintained etc? It’s not on.
