Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 2842409.
Access to Holmes Wood presents a significant safety risk to pedestrians/wheel chair users/ mobility scooters due to the width of the road and users wanting to access the site as access is only via the road. As a road user, visibility of pedestrians is significantly compromised by the bends in the road and width of the road. Traffic speed is only reduced to 30mph at the entrance to the wood. Noting Lorrie’s/tractors/double decker buses regularly use this road, all the above presents a significant safety risk to all users. Prior to approval of the works for the access was this included in a risk assessment??
