We’re sending you this message to let you know that we’ve assessed the road condition and – whilst it has deteriorated it does not yet require further action and would not represent good use of budget as a major carriageway resurfacing scheme is programmed for 2025/26 at this location. If the fault deteriorates significantly then please report this again to us and we will investigate further. Thank you for reporting this matter.

I think levelling these 2 sunken drain covers would be a better use of public money than resurfacing the grimblethorpe layby to an extremely high standard? It is better quality than the actual road repairs you carry out. Perhaps you could explain why this was deemed more important than the huge section of road missing on the spire view junction in louth?
