Barlings Lane at the Junction with Station Road, Langworth

Reported via mobile in the Other road surface issue category by Councillor Mike Herbert at 16:33, Saturday 3 May 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2842926.

The image is taken from the position of a driver looking right towards the Wragby direction. There is very poor visibility and you cannot easily leave the road junction safely. Visibility is now limited because of a growing hedge line (property is empty), a green BT Communications cabinet and because the road bends away from you. There have been numerous accidents and near misses at this dangerous junction, most have not involved the police so LCC will not have become aware of them. A serious accident and/or a fatality is inevitable unless something is done.
