Barrier Bank near Claypack Ltd

Reported via mobile in the Other road surface issue category anonymously at 13:23, Thursday 8 May 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2843287.

The section of Barrier Bank between Queens Bank and Claypack Ltd, Approx 0.3 miles, is seriously deteriorating. Previously the edge of the road was cracked and crumbling but there is also now a large crack opening in the middle of the carriageway. This makes it difficult to avoid the uneven road surface and renders the road especially unsafe for motorbikes. The condition has been worsening quickly since the use of Barrier Bank by HGVs as the diversion due to the A16 closure.
