I am writing to express my concern regarding the bollards recently installed at the connection of Palin Dr and Green Ln. Their presence appears suspicious and potentially unlawful, as there are no accompanying road signs to alert drivers to the restricted access in this area. Moreover, I have observed that some drivers are entering the restricted area by driving onto the footpath, which poses a significant risk to pedestrians and other road users. I respectfully request that the Council investigate whether these bollards have been installed legally. If they are found to be unauthorized, I kindly ask for their prompt removal. Alternatively, if the bollards are lawful, I urge the Council to install appropriate signage indicating that the road is closed, to ensure safety and avoid potential accidents.   • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the bollards are legitimate, they are part of the planning permission for the development so have to be in place. We are looking at whether additional 'dead end' signs can be added. Thank you for reporting this matter.
