Just to let you know this issue has turned out to be more complicated than we first thought. We need to take this on for more investigation. We will let you know the situation as soon as we can. Thanks for bearing with us.

We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the footway condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However, we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the footway network and the resources available to us each year. We will look to revisit this site during a period of rainfall to assess any immediate repairs required in the meantime. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway. Thank you for reporting this matter.
