Reported via mobile in the Ploughing and cropping category anonymously at 20:04, Wednesday 14 May 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2843890.

Path has not been maintained so three fields are full of over knee high flowering beans with no trail, also several of the signs are missing.

  • It looks like an ATV has driven through and possibly used roundup but 3 1/2 weeks after initial report the crop is still tall enough to obstruct the path especially for dogs, small children, and elderly people less able to lift their feet over the plants or drag them through. If it’s wet it’ll cause trouble and I am especially concerned if people go through unwittingly soon after pesticides or herbicides have been sprayed , the vegetation remaining will transfer it to their clothing or dog’s fur and be toxic.

  • Almost two weeks after the last update the path is still not properly passable with the same problems as outlined last time. In contrast, attached is a close up photo of the path at the same time last year.
