Extremely overhanging large tree branch

This extremely large overhanging tree branch which is extremely dangerous and you can’t walk past it without being hit in the face it’s already injured one gentleman in today high wind where it’s hit him in the eye. Please can you treat this as a emergency please has I feel it can cause more injuries

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because it is currently bird nesting season but we are seeking specialist arboricultural advice and will arrange for any advised works once their assessment has been completed. This is a follow-up on our previous correspondence. I was told the trees could not be cut Bach due to nesting. Could this be looked at again, please the tree has now completely covered the public footpath and people are avoiding walking on the footpath and are either walking on residents private garden( with pushchairs or mobility scooters) or using the road. Please can you get these trees cut back for public saftey
