Request for Lowered Curb on Lincoln Road Following Repeated Incidents
Following the numerous accidents that have occurred over the past few years on Lincoln Road, another serious collision took place on the 15th of May involving a HGV and a van which damaged my car which was parked on the side or the road. After the incident, I contacted Lincolnshire County Council to express my concern. I appreciate the response I received, confirming that speed cameras and speed bumps are not considered viable options for this road. However, I would like to formally reiterate my request for the curb in this area to be removed and replaced with a lower one. This would allow residents to safely park their vehicles off the road or on their driveways, reducing the risk of further incidents. Based on the advice from Lincolnshire County Council, I am now submitting this formal request for the curb to be lowered. I would greatly appreciate it if someone from the Highways team could come and assess the area in person to evaluate the current condition and determine the feasibility of this improvement. Regards, Alina
