Surface of tarmac to rear entrance of Baumber School in urgent need of resurfacing

See photos. This is a busy access lane to Baumber Village School and is also the access to the public footpath off the A158 to St Swithin's Church. Children also use this as footpath as well as residents and drivers gaining access to Baumber School's carpark.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

    These works were reported 27 May 2025 and are still outstanding. The tarmac surface in continuing to deteriorate please can this be progressed asap as this is a trip hazard to pedestrians and vehicles accessing Baumber School every weekday during term time are driving over the surface. The winter months are approaching and frost damage will also degrade the surface. Thank you.
