Until the repair last week this bend had always had a double kerbstone edge to stop tractors and lorries cutting the corner and ending up in the dyke. In my opinion as chairman of the parish council this repair has made the bend more dangerous. Please can this be investigated again.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because we chose to remove the double kerb at this location because we no longer had the width to reinstate a double kerb. We will continue to monitor this site on our routine inspections and have ongoing discussions with the drainage board.
