Where dyke passes under the road via the culvert. It is at the side of the last property on Besthorpe Road, on the left hand side, as you head towards Besthorpe.

The barrier is rotten and has disintegrated. There is also another barrier on the opposite side of the road, that is not in as bad condition as this one, but could do with some maintenance. The barriers protect persons on the busy road from the 6ft steep drop, as this is where the culvert passess under the road.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because we are planning to replace the fence in the future however we are awaiting planned utility work to take place alongside the fencing before we do so. We are currently unable to provide timescales for this work. Thank you for reporting this matter.
