Footpath between Kennel lane and bypass on A158

Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category by John Taylor at 10:22, Sunday 1 June 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2845399.

Footpath/cycle path is extremely uneven and very narrow. Pedestrians and cyclists cannot pass easily. Many paths in the area have been upgraded. This path is always missed. Old layby is awful during wet weather.

  • We’re sending you this message to let you know that we are aware of the location, and it has already been raised on a forward planning brief for siding works. As such this has been passed to the asset team for inclusion in a future siding programme to restore the path to its full width and remove the vegetation overgrowth. I am unable to give any timescales for this work as the programme is countywide with many locations requiring such works. Thank you for the information and for reporting this matter.
