Reported via desktop in the Dying or diseased tree category by Philip Ford at 10:58, Mon 2 June 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2845474.

There is a very large mature and very dead tree standing by the side of the road through Harrington. At some time not too long ago someone has sprayed a dot of red paint on it as if marking it for felling but we don't know who. Was this done by yourselves, and if so what does it mean? If not, can you advise on further action as there is clearly a danger of it falling across the road at some time in the not too distant future?
