Public Footpath Wardentree Lane Pinchbeck, Lincs - TF 24690 25055

Reported via desktop in the Signs category anonymously at 10:08, Wednesday 4 June 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2845687.

Dear Sirs, I wish to bring to your attention the following issues regarding the public footpath entrance section adjacent to the ongoing Bellway Pinchbeck Fields housing development:- i - A section of the entrance section adjacent to Wardentree Lane has become difficult to walk on due to the developer having disturbed the original underfoot conditions, irregular stones have been deposited rather than a more suitable compactable hogging material. More people are now using this public footpath including myself, being of a senior age it makes for awkward walking which could lead to trips/falls. ii - The original finger sign post was damaged and removed a few years ago by the contractor and has not been replaced to date. I spoke to the site manager a while back and brought the above to his attention but to date no action has been taken, therefore could I request that the above issues be looked into at your earliest convenience. Thank you in anticipation.
