Outside number 35 has an Anglian Water manhole where the Highways surface water runs into. The 175mm surface water pipe coming into this AW manhole looks to have collapsed. (I tried to upload a photo from our CCTV camera, but this app is too slow) we have mechanically removed about half a tonne of backfill/ sub-base. This has come from a collapse on the surface water pipe. This can be viewed from the AW manhole, looking upstream in the 175mm pipe with a drain camera. I am concerned that the road has become undermined because of this collapsed pipe. On the road surface is an area where it has been patched. This is the area of concern. This has the potential to cause more blockages in the foul water line if it is left.
