Panton Road, Louth Road and Lincoln Road

Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 14:11, Sunday 15 June 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2846803.

Please see a post that is on local Facebook group regarding the problems with the footpaths in the village. I have notified fix my street several times and have been informed that these footpaths are adequate but it seems that wheelchair users (of which there are a few) are experiencing difficulties and at some points need to go on the busy roads ( A157). WHEN will something be done with the quality of the footpaths and the foliage and weeds that are either on the path or coming through from farmers fields. If this was in a larger community something would have been done long before now!!!

  • We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the footway condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County Highways network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
