The whole of fountain place needs resurfacing
Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 09:32, Fri 20 June 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2847300.
I am writing as a concerned member of the public to report the deteriorating condition of Fountain Place. The entire road surface is in very poor condition and has not been resurfaced in over 15 years. There are numerous potholes along the street, many of which pose a significant hazard to both vehicles and pedestrians.
With a school now operating on Fountain Place and a café attracting increased foot traffic, the safety risks have become more serious. Young children and elderly pedestrians are frequently walking along the road, and the current state of the surface makes this especially dangerous.
The situation worsens during wet weather, as the road is prone to flooding. This not only obscures the potholes but also increases the risk of trips, falls, and vehicle damage.
I respectfully urge the relevant department to assess the condition of Fountain Place as a priority and to consider full resurfacing to ensure the safety and accessibility of the area for all users.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Dear Sirs,
Please note that you have fixed a pothole on Red Lion Street next to the church entrance not Fountain Place, which is on the next street behind the buildings. Please reinstruct the job as it is not done.

Hi , Firstly thank you for sending a repair team out to fill the pot holes in the road outside the entrance to the car park on red lion street market place pe21 6ny . But can urgent attention be paid to the drop kerb at that entrance , the road has sunk and I along with many other users of the car park are in great danger of causing damage to our cars when entering or exiting the car park , the situation has been like this for years and is getting progressively worse and now could really do with urgent attention .
Kind regards Andy
