Corner of morton Terrace and love lane
Reported via mobile in the Other road surface issue category anonymously at 11:10, Fri 27 June 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 2847994.
The road has become worn, heavy goods vehicles, agricultural vehicles and lorries carrying sea containers/building rubble (industrial) continually drive past from 6am to 10pm even later at times all at a decent speed, the weight of the lorries hitting the worn roads shake the houses. The houses are built in the 1900s and we fear that the continual shaking of the foundations due to the damaged road will cause damage to our houses. I have noticed there was a complaint put in in 2022 about the heavy goods lorries on damaged roads and our neighbours report nothing has come of the complaint. We are now three years on, the roads are worse.

The road is not getting any better, this problem has been ongoing for years not months, the goods lorry's are speeding along and dropping into the increasingly expanding divets in the road. Either fix the road or lower the speed so the damage will be lessened.
