No road markings when there should be.

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 13:49, Mon 30 June 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2848220.

The lane markings are non existant due to wear and previous works from the junction of roman bank and the to near enough the bottom of Tinwell Rd by the mini roundabout.

HGVs come down this busy stretch of road along with hundreds of cars a day, all risking a head on crash as they pass the parked cars on either side of the roard and meet in the middle.

Without the lines being there to guide drivers as to where they need to be positioned, the risk of a collision is really high. Wing mirrors being knocked off and near misses are becoming a daily occurance.

I did raise this previously and you responded saying it would be addressed as part of some other planned works. That was months ago and still no sign of any planned works or indeed white lines. Its dangerous particularly as cars going up the hill from the roundabout accelerate off the roundabout as if they were on a hill climb event, forgetting its a 30mph zone until the junction of Roman Bank. So you have drivers launching themselves up the hill at significant speeds as HGVs breaking the 7.5T weight limit come thundering down the hill. When they meet in the middle there is a screech, some shouting, the sound of plastic falling off a vehicle hitting the road surface etc. You get my drift. White lines pease.
