Near Burton road End, Little Hale

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2848263.

Lincolnshire Highways informed the local bus company that the road is open and to remove any cones out the way. The road hasn't been cleaned up after a Tractor fire 4 days ago. Crack on

  • The road has not been swept/cleared over a week after the fire. Traffic, including hgvs and buses are using Burton Road, a tiny single-track lane as a result. This is dangerously to cyclists and walkers - and a huge inconvenience to locals. Please sort this asap

  • We’re sending you this message to let you know that we’ve assessed the road condition and we understand the frustration from the residence of the village however the Road Closure is in place due to the debris, oil and melted Carriageway and is there to protect all road users. Our officers inspect this road on a daily basis to make sure the road is kept closed. A bigger scheme of works has been raised and will commence in due course.
