The road was closed off Friday 4 July for road repairs. The quality of the tarmac patches put down is terrible, crumbling at the edges, not sealed, uneven just shocking quality. This area from the Queens Rd junction to 15 Frieston Rd is just a patchwork of poor quality road repairs. It has been worked on so many times but no-one seems to be ensuring that the work quality is correct.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
