Junction between green lane & caleb hill road
Reported via desktop in the Tree/hedge restricting available highway category anonymously at 07:52, Sun 6 July 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2848767.
Once again the trees & bushes have over grown the highway obstructing the view at this blind junction. its dangerous enough when the trees are not overgrown as speeding cars, cars cutting the corner & kids on electric scooters are an accident waiting to happen. maybe when someone gets seriously injured will something be done about it. this corner plot is not maintained by its owner & they should be made to properly ensure its as safe as possible. the road width is probably reduced by as much as 3 to 4 feet making a bad junction un-necessarily worse.

A quick note to let you know that we’re taking enforcement action. This type of action can take a long time to complete so whilst it might not look like we’re working on the issue, we’re being busy behind the scenes. Thanks for your patience. As this progresses, we’ll update you when we can.

I've noticed that school buses have been using the footpath to negotiate this junction but still getting damage by the trees, so much so, the owner of the bus company has trimmed part of the hedge. But needless to say these unmaintained trees & hedge still will need constant cutting back on a regular basis.
