The whole of hobhole bank, but especially bad between the junctions with station road & the gride

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2848768.

Massive potholes, previous poor repairs to potholes (actually making them worse) & huge subsidence, some parts approximately over a foot deep making this road not fit for purpose. very dangerous & potential to cause damage to vehicles or injury to road users. this area is one of the flattest in europe, & yet the roads must be some of the worst in the country. the fields would be flatter hence safer to drive along. higher taxes yet 3rd world standards.

  • We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the road condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County road network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.

  • Marked as 'all done' yet more superficial bodging. a lot of the minor issues addressed but the major ones still remain after years of poor maintenance/repair.
