Double Yellow Lines

Reported via iOS in the Road Markings category anonymously at 21:06, Sun 6 July 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2848828.

I noticed today that the double yellow lines on Hartley Street have been extended to keep the road junction with Tawney Street clear. I feel this should also be done on Friar Way. The double yellow lines here allow cars to be parked very close to the junction and vehicles wishing to leave Friar Way have to wait on the right hand side, which obstructs the way for vehicles wishing to enter Friar Way. It’s also impossible, if you are in a small vehicle, to see around the hedge of the bungalow at the top of the road.
