Roundabout Broadway/meadow way

Reported via desktop in the Tree/hedge restricting available highway category anonymously at 17:11, Wed 9 July 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2849150.

The shrubs and weeds on the roundabout are too high to see over or around the roundabout. Coming out of Shakespeare Way is problematic as cars can appear around the roundabout just as you are advancing. But even worse there was a pedestrian crossing the road today as I came round the roundabout who I could not see until I was nearly hitting her. Accident prevented but there is no visibility to see what you are driving in to.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the design of the roundabout is so there is no visibility over the top of it. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action

  • Could this be reassessed please. The low kerb for crossing with prams/mobility scooters is so near to the roundabout that you are actually stepping into the road with no visibility of any cars or trucks coming round the roundabout.
