Previous road repair on one carriage way outside Glamford House

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2849239.

Recent road repair has failed and the road noise has increased 10 fold,all the vibrations from the recent road repair have increased considerably leading to sleepless nights

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because when we receive complaints about vibration, we advise that a number of factors can contribute – including ground conditions, vehicle type (e.g. unladen HGVs causing more bounce), and the structural condition of the affected properties – many of which are beyond our control. the only realistic improvement would come from a full resurfacing of the carriageway. Unfortunately, we have no plans to undertake this at present, and no specific funding allocated for resurfacing along this stretch of the A1175. we would advise you contact your building insurers and they may send a building surveyor to investigate the cause. Thank you for reporting this matter.
