Junction of Church Street and Water Lane

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2849571.

The road here has been resurfaced (thank you!) but the WHITE LINES have not been replaced yet, ie the give way lines and the centre of the road lines. There is no give way or stop SIGN here so the white lines are important. Thank you.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • This problem has still not been fixed! Some drivers using this junction do not appear to know who has right of way as there are no give way SIGNS or road markings. It can be a busy corner, especially if there are problems on the A1, so needs to be sorted soon please before there is an accident. Thank you.

  • There has been an accident on A1 today and the A1 has been re-routed through South Witham, This junction without give way indications is causing confusion with the heavy traffic and drivers not knowing who has right of way! Hopefully there wont be an accident here today. (Friday 12 September)

  • Thank you for the white lines!

    The sign to CHURCH STREET (near NG33 5PN) has fallen off its posts and now lying nearby. It needs fixing please.
