The whole of back lane up and down has lots of pot holes

As you can see by the picture the back lane has very deep pot holes however at the spot in the photo there is two which spread the width of the single track road. There is also the entrance to pyewipe farm which is the same there is put holes all away along from the mouth of there drive. The holes span at least half the road in some places up and down the road. I know this has been reported via other people and as there is now grass growing in the pot holes it would appear they have been like this a while but if it’s not repaired soon the vehicle access will be lost and as for walking up you have to watch where you are walking as you could easily trip in one and cause some damage. Especially with out elderly age within the village.

  • The pot hole which has been filled is not the actual pot hole I have pictured. The whole back lane is in an awful condition. And although this patch is a great start there will be a lot more patching needed.
