Investigating
There is ONLY ONE on Grantham Rd, Sleaford
Reported via mobile in the Crossing running with no pedestrians category anonymously at 19:09, Thu 17 July 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2849923.
I was told by LCC that there would be “No Further Action” on a previous complaint because the LCC had a Planning Application in place. The pedestrians, users of wheeled transport (eg pushchairs, mobility scooters etc) are at risk of serious injury or even death but the LCC give “No Further Action”! Why, in view of the severity of risk?

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County road network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.
