Roadside drains outside 105 Caistor Road, Market Rasen

Reported via iOS in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 13:43, Sat 19 July 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 2850040.

There are 2 blocked roadside drains outside my property which have on 3 occasions since 2022, caused my own drains to be overcome and flooded my property; the last time being 2 weeks ago. I have rodded the drains from the outfall as far as I can reach but do not have access to the drains themselves. This has been reported several times over the last 3 years and no action has been taken except to close the previous report as “no action taken”. My drive is flooded every time it rains and my drains can cope but thunderstorms are a different story. The internal flood lasts only minutes but it is enough to cause significant damage. Please assure me that these drains AND their pipes will be cleaned before we have water ingress for a 4th time!

  • This is what your blocked drains do! Fortunately, this time the water didn’t get into my garage but it was only an inch away. Please sort it out.
