Blocked drain reported in 2022 still not cleaned
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category by DoA ProperJob at 09:17, Wednesday 30 July 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 2 minutes later. Council ref: 2851158.
Initially reported in 2022, maybe before, so in over 3 years, this drain on the a16 main road (dangerous road as you've just reduced speed limit to 40mph) hasn't been cleaned once? Yet flowline have been in the area "cleaning" fully functioning drains including the BRAND NEW ones on bolingbroke road, after only weeks of the road being opened!

More complicated because you've neglected our drains of regular cleansing for at least 5 years

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because we've inspected and acknowledge that this gully/system is blocked, but because it is not causing a serious highway safety or property flooding issue we will not be ordering work at this time. Thank you for reporting this matter.

This A road has recently been reduced from a national speed limit to a 40mph limit so is obviously deemed a dangerous road. Regular maintenance is required.
