Herlyn Crescent
Reported via mobile in the Weeds on the highway category anonymously at 10:53, Fri 1 August 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2851395.
The weeds on the whole of Herlyn Crescent have been reported but the reply on Fix My Street only addressed the weeds on the footpath connecting Herlyn Crescent with Skegness Road. Usually by this time of year the weeds along the whole of the Crescent have been dealt with. The weeds this year have been left and are becoming unsightly and a nuisance.

Thanks for your enquiry. Lincolnshire County Council undertake two weed treatments per year, the last one in this area was undertaken in May and due to ideal weather conditions, there will have been some regrowth since this time. The next treatment is programmed for the week commencing 25.08.25 and further to application it takes approximately 3 weeks for this to be effective. Lincolnshire County Council does not remove weeds or sweep away the build-up of silt which may encourage them, as it is not the street cleansing Authority which is East Lindsey District Council. If you have any street cleansing requests, please contact ELDC directly via 01507 601111 or email customerservices@e-lindsey.gov.uk Thank you for reporting this matter.
