Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

The culvert runs under the driveway of Appletree Cottage to an inspection pit at the front of the property before going under the road to the field drain opposite the property. Sludge has built up in the culvert pipe and following the IDB scouring the drain alongside the property the culvert pipes have sediment within them.

Progress! We’ve completed our investigation and works are now planned. Once we know when work is due to take place we will let you know.

Was anything done about the sediment in the culvert pipes because we haven't seen anybody at the property doing any work? We thought one of the agencies would jet out the sediment, under the road and into the Town Dike drain on the other side.

From 28th August to now I have not received an update on when the work was scheduled. This job was closed on 14th November with no further update on when the work was undertaken. There still appears to be sediment in the culvert, so can you please advise when the work was supposedly undertaken.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. We have been taking enforcement action to get the ditch cleared and work is now scheduled for the jetting. Unfortunately we don't have a date for work to be completed. Thank you for reporting this matter.

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.
