Front of Sunnyside Grange Lane
Reported via mobile in the Standing water covering more than half the road category by Christine Jeavons at 13:13, Sunday 10 August 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 2852176.
The roadworks scheduled are not to fix the problem but to lay cable that couldn't be done because of the pond. Yesterday because of thick mud covering the highway I slipped and got covered in mud. I cannot walk my dog up the lane without my dog or me getting covered. This was first reported because of the pond overflowing across the whole road over 11 months ago. It is still flooded and has caused thick mud to abut my property. I run a holiday let from my property which is dog friendly yet my guests can't even walk their dogs from my gate along the lane because of it. Someone came to look in April and still nothing has been done. Soon someone will hurt themselves either in the mud or on the eroded road and that will be highways responsibility. Please fix it.
