The weeds are encroaching onto the footpath and making it difficult for pedestrians to use the footpath. This is particularly difficult for those residents who use a mobility scooter.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • In this instance we don’t intend on taking immediate action. Because our current resources are extremely limited we have to focus our enforcement on matters of a significant danger or nuisance to road users. We can, however, continue to monitor the site during our routine inspections and will review the situation. Thank you for reporting this matter.
