Public footpath between Welfen Lane,Claypole andFernwood

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction category anonymously at 07:51, Friday 22 August 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2853264.

For several hundred metres of the public footpath approaching the bridge there are several loops and lengths of old barbed wire positioned deliberately across the footpath. Walking our dog on the footpath is now very dangerous as he has twice become entangled in the barbed wire. The bridge has been vandalised and is not safe to cross. Many of the timbers have been removed or damaged and nail heads are exposed leaving a potentially dangerous walkway.
