South Heath Lane - All
Reported via desktop in the Uneven surface category anonymously at 10:40, Tuesday 26 August 2025
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2853558.
South Heath Lane is rapidly deteriorating due to the amount of HGV traffic using South Heath Lane as a shortcut/rat run to get to the A607 instead of using the A17. Despite signs advising “unsuitable for HGV traffic” the volume of heavy traffic causing subsidence and further potholes is completely unacceptable.
Despite continued requests and complaints being raised we are no further forward to getting a satisfactory resolution to this ongoing problem.
Can you please look to restrict access for all traffic over 7.5 tonnes as applied to other roads in the vicinity and ensure the road is repaired to prevent further accidents and damage to roads, light vehicles and pedestrians.
