Sunken inspection covers, sunken surface drains and uneven surfaces since resurfacing works on brackenborough road

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2853664.

An abundance of defects on this road now since the poor resurfacing work. Surface water drains and inspection covers in the road now sit well below the surface and should have been lifted prior to works. I can report each defect individually or assume you will assess the piece of road you have recently surface dressed. A cyclist and motorcyclist could hit these and come off causing injury or worse. They will also cause damage to a vehicles suspension.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Why would they be deteriorated already? The road was only surfaced a few weeks ago. They need lifting before an injury or incident occurs.
