Blocked drains on Spalding Road

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2854498.

Several of the drains near the roundabout on Spalding Road appear to be blocked. This problem has occurred each time it has rained since the road was resurfaced causing flooding on the road. They look to be partially blocked by the new tarmac.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • We’re sending you this message to let you know that we’ve assessed the road/drainage condition and – the drainage assets along the Spalding Rd approach will need thorough cleaning by a gully cleanser. The local highways officer will investigate further and include these assets on the cyclic gully cleansing programme. Thank you for reporting this matter.
