Bardney Causeway southern lane towards Potterhanworth Booths

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 2854529.

The edge metre of the road surface for a few hundred yards has fallen a foot below the road’s surface, causing vehicles to slip down towards the several-metre drop. Should a vehicle fall, it would be fatal. A double decker bus or lorry is almost guaranteed to topple over putting many lives at risk. This issue has been long in the making and hesitation in repairing it could have dire consequences.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because Lincolnshire County Council are aware of the conditions of the carriageway. Local Highway Team are currently in the process with works being carried out and further patching works from the Asset Team are due to be carried out in the coming weeks.
